SUMMARY:A new decade for women\, peace and security
DESCRIPTION:Experiences of women peacebuilders in Northern Ireland\, Uganda
 \, South Africa and Colombia were collated in 2020 in a project by Global 
 Network of Women Peacebuilders\, UN Women and the Government of Ireland\, 
 designed to explore future priorities and mark the 20th anniversary of UN 
 Security Council Resolution 1325. The project resulted in recommendations 
 for actors from the UN to national governments\, including the UN Security
  Council\, which Ireland will join from the start of 2021.
