SUMMARY:Advocacy Committee 16 Days Planning Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Advocacy Committee is led by the Co-Chairs of Advocacy and 
 is responsible for supporting and promoting the mission\, vision\, purpose
  and strategic plan of the IIWR-MB. It works in parallel and collaboration
  with the board\, other committees\, members\, and the public to advance t
 he work related to gender equity and justice through an intersectional len
 s. The Committee reports on strategies\, challenges and needs related to a
 ctivism and advocacy in the community. It seeks to promote the advocacy wo
 rk of others\, as well as fill gaps through advocacy initiatives created b

 e are interested in getting more engaged and active members to join the co
 mmittee to help us grow our reach and capacity! We use the work app Slack 
 for the majority of our internal communication and Google Workspace for co
