Civil Society Briefing on the Generation Equality Women, Peace, and Security and Humanitarian Action Compact
The Global Network of Women Peacebuilders and Feminist Humanitarian Network are hosting a civil society briefing on the Generation Equality Women, Peace, and Security and Humanitarian Action (WPS-HA) Compact on 28 June 2021 from 7:00 – 8:30 am CDT. Women’s civil society organizations interested in getting involved in the design and implementation of the Compact are encouraged to participate. The briefing will provide information on developments in the Compact framework and platforms for engagement from national and local women’s civil society organizations.
Objectives
Raise awareness of the Generation Equality Women, Peace, and Security and Humanitarian Action Compact and its corresponding framework amongst national and local women’s civil society and youth groups; and
Solicit greater support for the meaningful participation of national and local women’s civil society and youth groups in the design and implementation of WPS-HA Compact.
