@iiwrmb and @iiwrmb.youth are hosting a virtual panel titled Leaders Today: Young women speak peace & security in Manitoba.

Join us on Zoom to learn from young Manitobans about the importance of youth involvement in peace and security and why they’re important in Canada.

The IIWR Youth Council is hosting an event titled Leaders Today: Young women speak peace and security in Manitoba this Wednesday November 25th at 6:30pm!

The event is focusing on the anniversaries of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth Peace and Security and why these agendas are important from a Canadian context. The event features young women who will be talking about these topics with a Manitoba perspective.

Our speakers include:

 Sanjida Ahmed (Treasurer for IIWR-MB)
 Winter Dawn Lipscombe (Economic Portfolio Lead for Treaty #3 Youth Executive Council)
