More than one year has passed since the release on the final Canadian report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Implementing the Calls for Justice requires continuous and lasting changes to address historical and ongoing violence faced by Indigenous women. girls and Two-Spirit peoples. Canadian society needs to support spaces that empower Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit peoples and their rights to be safe, honored and respected. Community voices must be acknowledged and acted upon.
Speakers include: Thelma Morrisseau (Elder); Diane Redsky (Moderator); Lorraine Packo; Jeremy Sinclair; Angie Hutchinson; Renée Kastrukoff; Angela Lavalee.
The program will cover the following topics:

System changes
Restoring sacred circles
