Celebration of International Women’s Day 2021
On behalf of Asian Women of Winnipeg (AWOW), I would like to invite you to join us for our awards dinner in celebration of International Women’s Day which will be held on Saturday March 13th 2021 at 5:30 pm. As part of our celebrations, AWOW will be recognizing Isha Khan, CEO of the Canadian Museum of Human Rights , for her incredible accomplishments, tremendous contributions and vision for the betterment of the community in Manitoba. She is a symbol of pride and joy for us all. It is this recognition that we feel embodies the spirit of the leadership of Winnipeg Women of South Asian descent.
Our “Virtual Women Day Celebration” on March 13th 2021 @5:30pm is free and we are requesting for a minimum $10 donation (Money raised from registration will be donated to women’s shelter “Willow Place Inc”). The registration with dinner is $25 per person (Veg or non veg and curb-side pick up from Clay oven at Shaw-Park). If you really like to support our organization, please place your advertisement or greetings in the program and in the slide show for only $250 which will cover the registration and dinner. Your support will help us to continue our work for the betterment of our community.
