| Please join us for the annual Lanterns for Peace Ceremony, held each year to commemorate the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Aug. 6 and 9, 1945. Our aim is to help keep the memory of these attacks alive so that current generations understand we must never allow nuclear weapons to be used again.This is a beautiful ceremony. If you have never been to one, here are some videos that will give you a good idea of what to expect.
This is a family-friendly event. We will encourage mask use and social distancing and may limit the size of the group if required by public health guidelines. All are welcome.
