Rally at the Manitoba Legislature
Held annually, the IIWR-MB campaign for the 16 Days of Activism raises awareness, provides education and supports our local, national and international communities. This year we are co-hosting with Women’s March Winnipeg, a rally at the Manitoba Legislature to raise awareness of the issues of Gender-Based Violence and how it is rooted in our communities.
The rally will feature speakers with experience working to end gender-based violence and will take time to remember those lost to Gender-Based Violence and the Polytechnique Massacre. The rally will take place on the 32nd anniversary of the Polytechnique Massacre and the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women.
IIWR-MB and Women’s March Winnipeg invite you to join the Rally at the Manitoba Legislature to honour and remember those we have lost to violence and act for policy changes to end gender-based violence.
